Corson Suffolks

Good brood ewes are the backbone of our successful sheep operation. Visitors to the farm all comment on the size and quality of our brood ewes. Our ewes are rich in the bloodlines of George Bros., Luxford, Van Arkel and Benda Suffolks, and Ruby Mountain. Our 2011 Lambs are sired by: “Ovation” Ruby Mountain 860RR and "Captain Morgan" Ruby Mountain 905RR.

George Bros. 3915 had a big impact on our flock and the flock of "Peifer Suffolks". We still have daughters and granddaughters of "3915". More recently "Powerline" Benda 5023 RR was used with great success. "Powerline" was Reserve Jr. Champion Ram at Sedalia in 2006. About half of our ewe flock are "Powerline" daughters.

Our 2012 lambs will be sired by  Ruby Mountain 913. Ruby Mountain 913 sired the Res. Champion Suffolk ram at Louisville in 2011 for Cynthia Huckins.    Ruby Mountain 913's twin brother 914 sired the Grand Champion Suffolk ewe at Louisville 2011 for Terry and Joanne Renn.
